We believe great biltong starts with exceptional beef. That’s why we use Scotch Prime Beef – grass fed, high welfare cattle from traditional Scottish breeds. This prime silverside meets our signature blend of salt, vinegar, Worcester sauce, honey, coriander seeds, pepper, and a dash of chilli.

Our biltong is air-dried in a closely controlled environment. Every detail matters – from precise temperatures to optimal humidity and airflow levels. Once it’s just right, we slice it by hand and ship it to your doorstep the very next day.

Why did we start BLIKSEM Biltong? It’s simple: we missed the good stuff.
The UK might be our home now, but our hearts are still in South Africa.
We wanted to bring authentic, fresh biltong to the UK.

What are your opening hours?
You can order online 7 days per week. If you order before 11am, we ship for next day delivery. Delivery is UK wide.
If you want to visit us in person, come to our shop front - we're open Saturdays 10am - 2pm.
