Shallow Pottery Claimed
I make wheel thrown functional stoneware pottery from my small studio in Henfield. I make items such as jugs, large serving platters, plates, mugs, candle holders, bowls, oil bottles, teapots and flower stones.
Most of my work is glazed with my satin matte glazes in a range of subtle colours – green, blue, white, yellow, pink and grey as I like the buttery finish and slight sheen of these glazes.
I have a background in graphics and illustration and often use hand drawn stencils to create a resist when glazing, allowing the toasty colour of the clay to be visible.
I have a market stall the 2nd Sunday of the month, April to December, as part of the Henfield Artisan Market
